    RFQ response process

    RFQs are reviewed by an engineer the same day. For stock items, you get pricing and lead time within 24 hours. For custom designs (custom volumes, pressures, geometries, fittings), we respond within 3 working days with a feasibility assessment, ballpark mass and dimensions, an indicative lead time, and ballpark pricing — all subject to detailed scoping. We do not lock you into NDAs or letters of intent for an initial RFQ.

    What we need from you

    • Working pressure and proof / burst safety factor target
    • Internal volume in litres or required gas mass
    • Gas medium (H2, He, N2, Xe, breathing air, other)
    • Maximum diameter and length for envelope-constrained applications
    • Quantity (single prototype, low-rate production, full programme)
    • Qualification target (TPED, PED, ISO 11119-3, programme-specific qualification)
    • Required first-unit date

    Stock vs custom

    For programs that fit a stock HDRX cylinder (catalog of 36 standard products), expect 4–8 weeks lead time for delivery. Custom cylinders run 12–24 months from concept to qualification depending on complexity and certification scope. If you can flex on volume or pressure to fit a stock unit, you save 6–12 months of programme schedule.
